Michelle V. Paul has acted as a mediator, litigator, and transactional attorney in hundreds of legal matters during her legal career and brings this wealth of experience to Leaf Legal, PC. Ms. Paul has the proven ability and sophistication to mediate a wide range of disputes and is highly committed to bringing mediation to the forefront of the legal arena. Ms. Paul has assisted with mediating numerous high-profile cases with The Honorable Daniel Weinstein (Ret.), founder of JAMS and widely recognized as one of the nation's most preeminent mediators of complex, multi-party, high stakes disputes that are valued in the aggregate of billions of dollars annually. Judge Weinstein is a pioneer in the development of mediation and received the International Advocate for Peace Award from the Cardozo Journal of Conflict Resolution. Ms. Paul is known for her straightforward yet empathetic style, her original insights, her enthusiasm, and her genuine care for the cases in which she becomes involved. Ms. Paul has worked with Stephanie Schuman on numerous state and federal cases when they both provided pro bono legal services to The Mid-Atlantic Innocence Project. They now combine their experience to mediate all manners of cannabis disputes, including breach of contract.
