Summer Associate 2023
David Ogle is a law student at the New York University School of Law and is one of Leaf Legal, P.C.'s summer associates for 2023. David's interest in cannabis law started while working in Congress, where he advised U.S. Representatives on a diverse range of issues, including federal cannabis legislation.
David has prior legal experience from his position last summer as a law clerk at a law firm, where he assisted in representing clients in personal injury, workers' compensation, trusts and estates, and transactional matters. At law school, David is an Articles Editor on the NYU Law Review.
Prior to law school, David worked as a legislative staffer for several members of Congress in Washington, DC. Most recently, David served as the legislative and policy director at a non-profit, advocacy organization focused on federal veterans' issues. David received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Marine Corps after four years of active service, which included a combat deployment to Afghanistan.
David is a graduate of the University of Miami, where he majored in philosophy. He enjoys keeping up with politics and hanging out with his dog, Luna.
